Press Release: For Immediate Release

The Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) is set to strengthen its presence in the Italian market as it participates in TTG Travel Experience 2026, taking place from 14 to 16 October in Rimini, Italy.

At Hall C6, Stand 052/051, the destination will showcase its tourism offerings and outline priorities for the future, including air connectivity, investment opportunities, development of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) sector, and support for protecting Seychelles’ natural environment through sustainable tourism growth. Closer engagement with the Italian travel trade will also be a priority.

The Seychelles Islands will be represented by a delegation comprising six industry partners: 7° South, Air Seychelles, Creole Travel Services, Mason’s Travel, Raffles Seychelles and STORY Seychelles. The delegation will be led by STB Chief Executive Officer Vesna Rakić, together with the Board’s Italy-based team and STB Director Danielle Di Gianvito.

With more than 30 years of experience in Seychelles’ tourism sector, Ms Rakić takes part in the event at an important time for the destination. Italian visitor numbers have been recovering since spring, and STB is focused on sustaining that progress while supporting demand across its markets and throughout the year.

Ms Rakić said Italy remains a strategic market and STB is working to keep Seychelles among the preferred destinations for Italian travellers.
Accessibility is an important consideration for the Italian market. The potential for direct air links between Italy and Seychelles is being explored. If viable, such links could provide Italian travellers with an additional option and complement the important role of our established international hubs," she said.
