Welcoming the World to Seychelles – Celebrating World Tourism Day!

The Seychelles Tourism Board marked World Tourism Day on Sunday 27 September, with a special welcome for visitors arriving at the Seychelles International Airport.

STB staff, with the support of local Destination Management Companies (DMCs), were on hand to greet arriving guests with the warmth and hospitality for which Seychelles is renowned, while presenting them with special tokens to mark the occasion.

It was also a wonderful opportunity for STB to connect with visitors as they began their Seychelles holiday and to remind them that, beyond our beautiful beaches and breathtaking landscapes, it is the warmth of our people that truly makes Seychelles special.

A smaller welcome experience was also organised at the Inter-Island Quay for visitors connecting from Praslin and La Digue, while local DMC partners extended the World Tourism Day welcome to visitors on the two inner islands.
